About Me

Hey! My name is Cathy and I’m a sophomore in high school. You might be wondering why I decided to create this blog. Well, I’ve always been obsessed with writing since I was a kid. Whether that meant entering competitions or writing argumentative essays for fun… Writing isn’t just a hobby but it has been by my side since I was a kid. More importantly though, I created this blog so that I can merge my love for writing with my interest in the biological sciences, especially neuroscience.

Here’s some quick facts about me. My favourite subjects are definitely biology and chemistry (hence why this blog is primarily devoted to STEM related works)! The book genre I enjoy reading the most is fantasy with a romance subplot. And my favourite pastime is art! I’ve been drawing since I was 5, so art is quite literally part of who I am. Painting is the medium I am most comfortable with and sculpting is something I really want to get into! I also love fashion and design… In fact, I run a fashion club at my school! You’ll be able to see some of my artworks in this blog as well 🙂

I’m also a musician! I’ve been playing the piano for over 10 years and I just started learning the guitar. Additionally, I like crocheting, baking, and thrift shopping. I enjoy traveling and I have a massive sweet tooth. I can’t think of anything else to add right now, but when I do, I’ll make sure to update this ASAP! <33
